The MUI has secured payments due to composer, singer, orchestrator, songwriter, producer and Musicians’ Union of Ireland member, Julie Feeney, on foot of a performance at the “The Venue” in Ratoath for which the company refused to pay the contractually agreed amounts. The Union immediately sought all payments due from the company on Julie’s behalf.
However, when management continued to refuse to pay, the Union secured all payments due to Julie through the Rights Commissioners Service under the Payment of Wages Act.
